Week 27

The following is according to babycenter.com. I took it upon myself to make some comments along the way.

How your baby's growing: Your baby is really starting to fill up your uterus. (And how! I'm starting to barely swim around in here. Its these long legs of mine.) This week he weighs almost 2 pounds and is about 14.4 inches long with his legs extended. (Exactly, I mean didn't I just say my legs are long. And extended?! Geez! When I extend, its like I could accidentally kick someone in the face.) He can now open and close his eyes, and he sleeps and wakes at regular intervals. (Just to let you all know I'm a morning person) He may suck his fingers, and although his lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with assistance — if he were to be born prematurely. Chalk up any rhythmic movement you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. (To better describe, its like I'm a butterfly fluttering around in here) Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and isn't bothersome to him, so enjoy the tickle. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. (I blog my goings on while I'm in my mother's womb. Uh, I would say my brain is already on full throttle. Wouldn't you?) Wonder what he's thinking? (Geez. Ive been craving gourmet pizza. Here's hoping mom goes and gets one.)

Blast from the Past...

Here's a little blast from the past. This is the very pregnancy test my mom took at home to confirm her suspicion that she was with child. This sucker will be worth about a gagillion dollars when I'm President and married to Apple Martin.

My first Concert.

Last night I went to my first concert. uh huh!!! I did. It was U2. I went with mom and dad and a few of their friends. It was cool! That Bono guy has a good voice and the music was neat too. I think I like The Edge best. He has a neat name. I want a name like that. How about from now on you call me The G. hee hee. Sounds tough!

Because I've never been to a concert, it was a little jolting. But I got used to it. I was dancing around to Damian Marley. He is Bob Marley's son. Mom felt me dance. I hope it didn't bother her too much but I was Jammin'.
